The open huggie closes on itself. Twist the two ends gently in opposite directions, one towards you and one away, pass the post through your piercing, then twist back until the ends meet. Do not pull the hoop apart sideways. Additional earring backings come with every set if you want extra security or the hoop tilts forward.

How do I stop the sparkle from going dull?
Sparkle fades when a film of perfume, hairspray and skincare builds up over the stones. Put the earrings on last, after fragrance and skincare, and wipe them with a soft dry cloth at the end of the day. Clean occasionally with lukewarm water and mild soap, then dry fully. Keep them away from chlorine, saltwater and abrasive cleaners.
